Installation Instruction
Step 1、To check whether the dimeters of cable adaptor,cable lug,three-finger tube and cable core insulation are right or not.
Step 2、According to T1 dimension,stripping the cable outer sheath and straightening the cable slightly.The stripped length
respectively is 1200mm(switch cabinet),650-800mm(cable branch box).Keep the steel amor 30mm,inner sheath 10mm and then remove the unnecessary filler.At last wrapping the end of copper screen with PVC tape.(Recommended dimension above only for your reference.)
Step 3、Cable preparation accessories
1.Hot shrinkable(Figure T2)
Jacket bushing
1.1 Rouhening the outer sheath,and erasing the surface paint of steel armor or polishing it with abrasive paper.
1.2 Tightening the earthing wire with steel armor by copper wire,then solder them and wrap with a layer of PVC tape.Roughening the outer sheath at the place of 30mm below,then surround ing the earthing wire by sealant.
1.3 Heat-shrinkle three-finger tube and Heat-shrinkle tube installation:Add filler to the Trigeminal root,wrap the earthing wire on the outer sheath by sealant.Put the Heat-shrinkle three-finger tube into the trigeminal root,and heat it evenly until shrink by blowtorch ,then put the Heat-shrinkle tubes respectively onto every phase cables until reaching the finger root,finally shrink it by evenly heat.
2.Cold shrinkable (Figure T3)
2.1Put one end of the earth wire into the middle of three-core cable,and then stuff triangular pad cone into the cable to separate it.Using the earth wire to twist the cable a circle,tighten it and install one constant force spring card.Fix the ground wire on steel armor with another one.Wrap constant force spring,trigeminal area and steel armor which s at the place of 30mm on the external jacket into one with enough filler.
2.2.Installation of cold-shrinkable three-finger tube and cold-shrinkable tube:after cleaning the outer sheath under its large port and surface,wrap a layer of sealant.Encase the earth wire in order to prevent hydrosphere infiltrating from gap of it.Then twist the PVC tape around the filler,and put cold-shrinkable three-finger into the root of cable trigeminal.Pull plastic support out in an anti-clockwise way.First contract the neck so that the three -finger tube will shrink and wrap the filler.Then shrink the three cores respectively in the same way and seal its large port with PVC tape.
Set into the cold shrink tube and three finger overlap 15mm.Rotate the support section out to make it contract.
Note:Dispose the three-phase according to installation location,size and layout so as to ensure its wiring lug can effectively mate with the bushing screw hole.When removing the cold-shrinkable tube,it should be fixed with PVC tape,then begin the circumcision.Axial cutting is prohibited.

Step4.Strip cables(Fig.T4 T5)
1.Do not damage core insulation surface when strip the cable.Polish the visible surface scratch with abrasive paper.To make and cut the 3mmx45°cone from core insulation to semi-conductive layer at the place of semi-conductive and core insulation,or easy to damage core insulation.
2.Wrapping insulation tube incision evenly with the PVC Insulation tape
3.Winding positioning step:First,must clean your hands and cable positioning step,or may cause strips
positioning-dificulty so that influence the operation.Then,winding positioning strip in the root of semi-conductive tape (if positioning strip end adhesion is not tight,wrap PVC tape from position step outside to insulating tube),winding the positioning step into a 15mm wide cylinder,not the drum shape or conical,lest cause adaptor cannot position and fall down,lead to unneccessary accidents.
Note:Dispose the three-phase according to installation location,size and layout so as to ensure its wiring lug can effectively mate with the bushing screw hole.
Step5 Clean the core insulation
1.Wipe the core insulation with disposable cleaning tissne from core insulation to cable semi-conductive layer.To check whether there are black semi-conductive particles on the surface,check and clean it.
Note:The clean tissue can't wipe the cable in a back and forth way in order to prevent the semi-conductive particles from coming to the insulation layer
Step 6 Daub silicone grease
1.Daub silicone grease evenly on the mounting surface of front/rear connector,cable adaptor,bushing and cable core insulation。
Step7 Installation of cable adaptor (T6)
1.Put the cable adaptor into the cable core insulation in a single and non-stop way untill the lower place of cable adaptor compactly resist the position stage。
Step8.Press and install the wiring lug(T6)
1.Using crimping pliers to press wiring lugs compactly on cable conductor by three times and eliminate terminal burr.(wiring lugs no more than 120mm²press twice)
Note:make the direction of wiring lug hole towards socket
Step9.Installation (T7,T8)
1、Rotate the bolt into bushing
2、To avoid the cable adaptor slid down,one should grasp the lower place of position chain to put the connector into cable which its cable lug and cable adaptor has been pressed in a single and non-stop way untill the cable lug hole is in the middle and the lower termination of connector is at the same level with cable adaptor.
3、Put the product into casing in the same way.
4、Set into the flat mat,spring washer and nut one by one,then tighten the nut with torque wrench.
5、Put on insulating plug and then tighten it after the internal air expelled out.Cover it with screen cover.
6、Connect earth wire and fix the earth wire ear,and ensure the earth wire contact well with the ground.

Installation Notes
Notice:When installing the cable connector(plug-in terminal)and cable branch box,please be sure to abide by the following regulations to avoid accidents.
1.When pressing the cable terminal (wire ear),be sure to pay attention to its plane direction,which must be paralleled with the copper plane of the switch cabinet bushing.Thus,can ensure good electrical contact.Poor access to terminals in a plane direction will lead to high temperature when there is load current.The excessive heat will make the lug red and cable caught fire or even burning.
2.When the cable rips into the bottom of box from the cable channel,it must be entered in a vertical way from the right below of bushing.The lower part of cable can't be slanted.Cause the slantwise cable will generate torsion power towards "pipe".Longtime of reverse force can destory the seal between "bushing"and SF6 cabinet body,and make the load switch got a flat,failure or explosion.It can also make pipe products crack and blast.
3.You must let the charged indicator short circuit and grounded when do high-pressure connect test. Otherwise the electriferous indicator will be damaged or the voltage can not be increased due to discharge.
4.If the joint distribution box or switch box installed with arrester needs to do high-voltage transfer test, we must first demount the arrester,otherwise the arrester will be damaged.
5.For large section cable 240 or 300 we usually first use the front connector to press on the bushing of switch cabinet.We installed rear connector behind front connector when the cable cross section is small
6.Please follow the product "Installation Instructions"for other installation details
